How does one search for a story?

Click on “News & Features”Select Language (English / Hindi / Gujarati)

All the stories for the past one month will be listed in chronological order.

Select Section of your choice to get stories from that section/subject.

Can I search a Story by its Headline?

Yes, you can search a story by its headline as well as its sub headings.

• Click News & Features
• See Advance Search feature on Left Panel
• Search For- Type the full / part of headline or sub headings (Supports Boolean operators)
• Location-Select Headline from the dropdown box
• Click Find/Search
• The Story/Stories that match your search will be retrieved and displayed

Can I search a story by Author’s name?

Yes you can.

1. Click News & Features
2. See Advance Search feature on Left Panel
3. Search For- Type the Author name (Supports Boolean operators)
4. Location-Select Author from the dropdown box
5. Click Find
6. All the syndicated stories authored and co-authored by the author named get retrieved and displayed.

Can I search news for a particular subject category?

Yes you can. The news is further categorized into the following subjects

• Search For- Search String (Supports Boolean operators)
• Select Category -Select Subject from dropdown list
• Location-Select location
• Click Find/Search
• The Story/Stories that match your search will be retrieved and displayed

Can I search a story if only word or phrase present in the story is known?

Yes you can. 3D Syndication supports free text search. You can search a story by specifying any word or phrase likely to be present in the story.

3. Search For- Type the word or phrase in the story (Supports Boolean operators)
4. Location-Select Full Text from the dropdown box
5. Click Find /Search
6. All the syndicated stories that match your search get displayed.

Can I search a story by date or date range?

Yes you can.

3. From & To- Specify the date range
4. Select Find /Search
5. All the stories matching your criteria get displayed.

Can I access the complete archive of stories?

To access News & Featuresarchives older than 30 days you need to be a registered Subscriber. “ Subscribe Now! “

• Click photographs tab
• See Advance Search feature on Left Panel
• Search For-Type the Photographer’s Name in the text box (Supports Boolean operators)
• Where- Select Photographer from the dropdown box
• Click Find /Search
• Will Retrieve and display all the syndicated photographs for the Photographer/s

Can I search photographs/cartoons/illustrations by the personality name?

Yes you can.

1. Click Photographs /Cartoons/ Illustrations
2. See Advance Search feature on Left Panel
3. Search For -Type Personality Name in the text box
4. Location- Select Personality from the dropdown box (Supports Boolean operators)
5. Click Find /Search
6. All the syndicated photographs of the personality/ies are retrieved.

Can I search Photographs/Cartoons/Illustrations by Keyword?

Yes you can.

1. Click Photographs /Cartoons/Illustrations tab
2. See Advance Search on Left Panel
3. Search For-Type the Keyword in the text box (Supports Boolean operators)
4. Location- Select Keyword from the dropdown box
5. Click Find / Search
6. All the syndicated photographs matching the keywords will be retrieved and displayed.

Can I search Photographs/Cartoons/Illustrations by likely words in the caption?

Yes you can.

1. Click Photographs /Cartoons/Illustrations tab
2. See Advance Searchon Left Panel
3. Search For-Type the likely word/s of the caption in the text box (Supports Boolean operators)
4. Location- Select Caption from the dropdown box
5. Click Find / Search
6. All the photographs matching your search will be retrieved and displayed

Can I search a Cartoon by Cartoonist name?

Yes you can.

• Click Cartoons tab
• See Advance Searchon Left Panel
• Search For-Type the name of the Cartoonist in the text box
• Location- Select Cartoonist from the dropdown box (Supports Boolean operators)
• Click Find / Search
• All the cartoons by the searched cartoonist will be retrieved and displayed.

Can I search illustrations by the name of the illustrator ?

Yes you can.

• Click Illustrations tab
• See Advance Search Left Panel
• Search For-Type the name of the Illustrator in the text box
• Location- Select Illustrator from the dropdown box
• Click Find / Search
• All the illustrations as per the search criteria will be retrieved and displayed

Do you provide Search Assistance?

You can send search request if you are unable to find the content required. Our Search Assistant will help you to find the content you required.

Steps to proceed ...

• Click on Add To Cart to proceed with calculating the price of the selected content. Prices for the licensing of content are calculated according to the usage rights provided
• Select Extent of Usage, Purpose of Usage, Term of Usage from the options given on the Calculate Price form. According price is computed.
• Add / Remove Purpose will allow you to delete / date purpose for re-calculations
• Click on Add To Cart. The My Cart would list the items to be purchased with their particulars. You can take a final check; remove any item from the cart if you wish. Click Proceed
• Check Out displays the order details. Select Mode of Payment. Options available are online by Credit Card and offline by Cheque/Demand Draft. Click on Payment
• Confirm your purchase after reading the License Agreement. You are advised to read the License Agreement carefully before proceeding further as your acceptance would be your agreement to be legally bound by the terms of the License Agreement
