It is said that combining quality time with a cherished one that features a quality workout has resulted in more than one benefit in a relationship. physical exercise produces chemicals in the brain that evoke feelings of happiness, reduces stress, and also increases the libido," says fitness expert Wanitha Ashok.
"It's a good idea to make a list of exercises that both partners enjoy and then compare lists. There's usually some common activity and this will make it easy for them to chalk out their schedule. Co-ordinate and compromise the schedule, taking into consideration both sets of preferences. It shouldn't look like a competition — instead, make it fun and challenging. It should be all about staying healthy and enjoying the time that is spent together," she advises. Wanitha shares her ideas on 'doing it' together, without really having to hit the fitness centre.
Just walk
It's fine to forgo going to the gym on occasions and taking romantic walks as its beneficial both emotionally and physically.
