Experiencing LIVES
Do you feel the country comes first? Population, pollution, corruption — the three nuances that go hand-in-hand have topped the charts of India’s list of crisis. India still holds the tag of being a developing country, and thus such issues have taken the back burner. Innovative and effective ideas do persist amongst the experienced and young minds of the country, but these ideas never really get a sturdy platform to confer upon.
Playing second fiddle to the government with an optimistic approach is Open Space, which has chalked out a special programme called Anubhav for the youth of Pune. “Anubhav is an explicit experience for all. It’s an insightful programme to make people aware of the happenings other than our normal routine. It’s also a chance to experience the lives of those living in poverty. The last trip in March is an overnight trip to Bhimashankar,” says Open Space spokesperson Rakesh Ganguli.
Anubhav-Experiencing Changing India will be a journey assorted with an array of interactive sessions, film screenings, debates, discussions and conversations along with a chance to meet icons of society. It is taking efforts to cater to the need of congregating the young blood of our country for an insightful voyage and showcasing various issues of social justice and development during the weekends this month.
